Sarah has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), is Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Accredited and holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. She has had 23 years of post-registration experience. Sarah specialises in anxiety disorders (incl generalised, social, specific phobia, panic), depressive disorders, adjustment disorder, relationships, bereavement, separation / divorce, terminal illness, sexual dysfunctions, unplanned pregnancy and surrogacy counselling. Sarah has also had experience in critical incident stress debriefing and on-site workplace counselling. Additionally, Sarah also has a passion supporting clients with upcoming retirement or who are currently adjusting to retirement.
Sarah works with adults, adolescents and small groups. Sarah has said, “It is a privilege to me to be able to walk alongside a client's journey of grief with them.
Sarah’s preferred treatment approaches and therapies include: Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Strength-Based Therapy. Sarah has further experience working with Group Facilitation including: grief and loss, divorce and separation, bereavement, pre-marriage, school workshops, sexuality and stress management.
Sarah is happily married with children.
