Kate Dorling

Psychologist

ADULTS COUPLES 

Kate has been a Psychologist for 20 years and works with adults. She provides support to individuals and couples presenting with varied issues including; anxiety, depression, loss and grief, trauma, relationship issues, parenting and family issues, self-esteem and confidence issues. Kate has worked predominately in private practice and also has experience working in human resources in a variety of workplaces along with supervising Intern Psychologists. Kate mainly utilises Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

 

Kate enjoys motivating people to challenge themselves, set goals and achieve positive outcomes. She feels privileged to be able to assist clients to work through difficult situations in their lives.

 

When she’s not at NewPsych, you’ll find Kate oceanside; usually walking, listening to music and podcasts. She thinks New York is the best, as is the tv show Bluey, which she has watched a world record number of times with her 3 daughters.
